State by state new case numbers, deaths; NSW records 20,396 new COVID-19 case numbers, 8 deaths; Victoria records 11,192 new cases, four deaths

In NSW 20,396 were reported, compared to 22,255 recorded yesterday.

Eight more lives has been lost in the state in connection to COVID-19.

And there are 1435 people in hospital with the virus and 44 people in ICU.

Victoria recorded 11,192 new COVID-19 cases which is a fall of over 1000 cases from yesterday’s 12,314 total.

There were also four more people who died with COVID-19 in the state.

In hospitals there are 335 people admitted with the virus and 12 cases in ICU.
