A woman has allegedly been caught drink driving and speeding with a child in the car in western Sydney.
Police stopped a Holden Barina on Boronia Road, St Marys just after 12pm on Wednesday after allegedly detecting the car travelling above the speed limit.
The 26-year-old driver was asked to take a roadside breath test, which police said returned a positive result.
Officers said the P-plater was travelling with an 11-month-old baby in her vehicle.
The woman was arrested and taken to St Marys Police Station.
Police said she took a second breath analysis which returned an alleged reading of 0.206.
The woman was issued a field court attendance notice for drive with high range PCA (first offence) as well as infringement notices for exceeding the speed limit and not displaying P plates.
Her driver’s licence was also suspended.
